Thanksgiving Holiday
Thanksgiving traces its roots back to 1621, when the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag tribe shared a feast in Plymouth, Massachusetts. After a bumpy ride on the Mayflower and a tough first winter, the Pilgrims celebrated their first successful harvest with a three-day festival. Fast forward a few hundred years, and Abraham Lincoln declared it a national holiday in 1863, setting the stage for today's turkey-filled festivities. Now, it's all about gobbling up a feast, watching parades, and catching football games, all while giving thanks. 🦃🍁🏈
